Social Acceptance of Renewable Energy
Social acceptance of local renewable energy is crucial for the success of the transition towards a low-carbon society. The Community Energy online module provides guidance on how to promote social acceptance within your local community.
Sustainable Energy and Climate Actions Plans
This training program addresses two levels of learners:
- Level 1 is the start-up level for local leaders and municipal staff. It addresses the development of a new Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SECAP) (“1st generation” SECAP)
- Level 2 is for more advanced local governments and provides ideas when reviewing existing SECAPs (“2nd generation” SECAP).
8 interconnected modules are provided for both levels, each providing basic guidance, ideas, hints, tips and tools for politicians and technical staff.
